How did the tutorial come about?
In 1971, Deepak Bakshi, President of this company, went to London to research and re-construct the fragments of information available on Sthapatya Ved. In London, he wrote a thesis on Sthapatya Ved, after two years of research--this was just a beginning. For almost two decades, Deepak Bakshi has continued his research, learning from the scholars hidden in remote parts of India, and by studying the original Sanskrit scriptures of Sthapatya Ved.

After 17 years of researching, perfecting and experience, we have put together all the fragments into a coherent body that can easily be learned and applied by everyone. This is why Deepak Bakshi, and Architectural Design Services decided to make an educational product that would save you much confusion and the high costs that often occur from other services out there. The tutorial not only allows you to design your own home, but in the process, lets you learn about how Sthapatya Ved works. The Sthapatya Ved tutorial is also the first to let architects, contractors, developers and realtors learn from the tutorial and apply Sthapatya Ved for their clients.
